Vertical Paintings by Dan O'Neill

Trees are a favorite subject for Dan. He captures their majestic glory and constant motion during every season.

Wonderful compositions along creek beds, in groves, even standing firmly alone he always manages to capture their ancient personalities.

"The reason I like painting trees in a gestural, free style is because when you watch them, they never stop moving." Dan shares. "I feel even the most beautiful photographs of tress 'imprison' them into a very still and motionless reality"

This quote is the best way to sum up his style and interpration of what his creative eyes behold.

These vertical paintings are fantastic examples of how trees really look.
